Atkin's Diet didn't quite cut it.

by Irving
(Atlanta, GA)

Years ago I tried the Atkin's diet. You remember the one that was almost all protein. You went into keytosis or something to see if you were burning the fat.

I lost weight but sure missed all the bread and pasta and such. In the long run, just couldn't keep it up and put back all the weight I took off. I learned later that diet was rough on your kidneys.

I think I heard somewhere that before he died Dr. Atkins was looking a more of a balanced diet including green carbs. Too bad he didn't get a chance to improve on what he started.

What a bummer NEW

Sorry that diet didn't work for you, Irving. Could it be that your balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats did not work with the way your body metabolizes food? Get your report on how your body metabolizes food by taking our Metabolic Survey. You can find it here on the site.
Once you start eating the right combination, you'll start to see success. The pounds and inches just start coming off!
